Award

Booneville High School has been recognized by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as a school where students demonstrated high growth on the ATLAS.

OEP creates an annual report entitled the Outstanding Educational Performance Awards wherein schools are recognized for high student academic growth.

In the OEP’s High School Level report published this week, Booneville High School received the following English Language Arts awards: High ELA Growth (Statewide), High ELA Growth (Northwest region).

Although the new state accountability model reflects the percentage of students that met or exceeded growth expectations, OEP Awards are based on the school-level content growth score.

These growth scores reflect how much students at the school improved from 2024 compared to how much other students with similar prior achievement improved. OEP recognizes schools based on Overall growth, as well as for growth in Math and English Language Arts separately.
