Mrs. Garnetta Bonner, a fifth grade teacher at Booneville Elementary School, learned today she has been awarded a Project Wild grant from the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission.
Bonner learned of the award through a letter from the Game & Fish Commission. The letter also explained the best way to utilize the grant money for purchases for her wildlife/environmental/science curriculum project.
In addition to the curriculum purchase the grant also sends a speaker to Bonner’s class room twice during the school year.
