National Beta Club

For the second straight year, Booneville High School has been recognized as a National Beta School of Distinction.

Beta Club sponsor Kim Sanders received a letter today from National Beta CEO Bobby Hart informing her of the recognition.

“This national award speaks highly of your commitment to academic excellence and illustrates your dedication to preparing students for their future,” Hart wrote.

According to the letter, National Beta is the nation's largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. The organization is committed to recognizing and promoting high academic achievement, rewarding and nurturing worthy character, improving student leadership skills, and encouraging service to others.

“The students in your school understand the importance of these qualities and exemplify the Beta motto, Let Us Lead by Serving Others,” the letter adds.

A National Beta Club in the school provides a unique learning experience that allows students to achieve lifelong goals.

“We appreciate your continued focus on fostering activities that ensure all students can achieve success. Again, congratulations on being named a National Beta School of Distinction,” the letter concludes.
