Concurrent Credit

There are several opportunities for students to earn concurrent credit at Booneville High School.  Concurrent credits are those credits that serve as both high school and college credit.  Through web based learning, seniors can take college algebra or College English. In order to qualify to take these courses students must have qualifying scores of at least a 19 on the reading, English, and math portions of the ACT.

WATC- Western Arkansas Technical Center on the University of Arkansas Fort Smith campus has several programs available to earn concurrent credit.  Students must be a junior in good academic standing and have a current ACT score to qualify.  Some programs require certain ACT scores.  To learn more about the WATC program explore their website at
